Favourite ‘writing environments’ / tools
Yesterday I received a question through the comments feature on the ‘Ulysses 1.5 is out!‘ post:
(…)“how do you use Ulysses and Tinderbox together?”
I tried to keep my response short, and while I do not exactly use both apps. together in a literal sense… I think I pretty much summed up how I use Tinderbox and every other writing app. or ‘environment’ out there.
I think there a lot of people out there interested in writing apps. My statistics show high peaks of traffic (by this blog’s standards…), every time one of my posts deals with the writing theme.
So I thought a good way of throwing some meaning on my endless time consuming hobby of playing around with writing apps. (other than writing…), could perhaps be sharing some of my experiences fiddling with them.
Please welcome a new member of the ’static’ pages at tfserna’s blog: “Favourite Writing Environments / Tools”. While this page will not show a ‘ranked’ list of them… it will work as a set of pointers to what I think would be relevant info on those. And hopefully with time, it will also serve as a starting point for a bunch of posts from myself on the subject matter.
So as explained at the ‘Placeholders‘ post from a couple days ago, this new page will slowly be populated over time. (BTW, the ‘Cool Quotes’ one is completely empty as of this writing… and trust me I have plenty of content for it… still struggling with how to structure it though…)
