Many thanks Alwin for taking the time to read... as well as for leaving your kind comment. Just for you to know, yours is the first comment not coming from a family member... ;-)

You're too modest... any average geek recognizes cool and creative use of technology just by glancing at it...

Your screencasts show in fact an extremely neat use of Tinderbox... which I recall having sort of previously seen here.

You've summed it up very nicely: take the tools to make the tools. I think that's where most of us have been and are at... take KTGD for example.

I'd like to show in future posts how I'm starting to use Tinderbox. In that way I also intend to force myself to extract more from it.

Anyway, thanks again.
Fond regards from Spain, TFS

The diabetes tracker is not sophisticated at all. There are another hundred features that I'd add before it was a proper health care tool.

The reason I used that particular example was that a) it illustrated how to use four basic Tinderbox tools, and b) how combining those tools can solve a practical problem.

I'm sure you've already used the same four tools to different purposes - prototype notes to track clients with attributes to help you organize them, agents to filter dates court papers must be filed, actions to focus attention on the most pressing cases.

It's simply taking the "tools that make the tools" in Tinderbox and wielding them to build the things that we need. Which is what make it such a neat program - you take it and make it the way that you like it. :-)
